Trustee Representatives
Trustee Reps are non-voting members of Senate. They are members of a committee of the Board of Trustees, and give a presentation to that committee at the end of February. The Trustee Reps are appointed by Senate each September through an application process.
Academic Affairs Representative
Josh Kapelman, Representative to the Academic Affairs CommitteeThe Academic Affairs Committee considers and advises the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee on current and future matters concerning curriculum, programs, student affairs, certain faculty, emeritus, and other academic appointments, and relations with other academic institutions. It meets five times a year. |
Administration & Finance
Aaron Bartel, Representative to the Administration and Finance CommitteeThe Administration and Finance Committee is charged with overall responsibility and oversight of University operating budgets, capital expenditures, and investments. This committee approves the construction, renovation and maintenance of buildings and grounds; investment, reinvestment and management of all investment assets of the Corporation; and financing transactions. The committee also considers and advises the Board of Trustees on matters pertaining to tuitions, fees, and enrollments. It meets three times a year. |
University Advancement
Simon Metcalf, Representative to the University Advancement CommitteeThe Committee for University Advancement considers and advises the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee on current activities and future planning in the University's fundraising, public relations, federal, state, city and community relations, publications, and alumni relations. It meets three times a year. |
