Funding Sources for TCU Groups

Listed on this page are common sources of funding on campus, aside from those available via Buffering Funding from the TCU Senate Allocations Board. This information can also be downloaded as a word document for easy reference. Please contact the TCU Treasury with any questions.

TCU Co-Sponsorship

  • Many TCU organizations, including the TCU Senate, maintain co-sponsorship budgets for the purpose of showing support to other organizations’ events
  • Typical grant: $25-$100
  • To apply: Contact the president or treasurer of the student organization directly; to apply for co-sponsorship from the TCU Senate, please email the TCU Treasurer
Student Life Funding
  • Sponsored by the Dean of Students Office; typically grants up to $500 for alcohol-free programming open to the entire Tufts community
  • To apply: Fill out Student Life Funding form and email to James.Ryan@tufts.edu or bring to the Dean of Students Office in Dowling Hall
AOD Minigrants (Health Services)
Academic Departments
  • Amount of funding will depend on the nature of the event and the mission of the requesting group
  • To apply: Contact the appropriate Department Chair or Department Administrator directly
President’s Office
  • Amount of funding will depend on the nature of the event
  • To apply: Contact the President’s Chief of Staff, michael.baenen@tufts.edu
Deans Offices
  • The Deans offices of the various schools of Tufts may be willing to co-sponsor events depending on the nature of the event and the mission of the requesting organization
