The Student Outreach committee works to bridge the gap between the TCU Senate and members of the TCU who we represent and also organizes and plans Senate-sponsored special events throughout the year, such as Fall Ball and the Nighttime Quad Reception (NQR). Every year we hold "Freshman Forums," where the Senators go into first-year dorms to meet people, explain what the Senate does, hear what the students think should be done to improve Tufts, and provide free pizza. Student Outreach also conducts the semesterly TCU Senate Student Survey.
Anyone Is Welcome to Join! No Election Required!
"Walk-on" members are always welcome, and can even work on projects with us. It's a great way for you to get to meet us on the Senate, see how the Senate works, and get great experience working to branch out to the school. For more information, or if you have any suggestions for Student Outreach projects, get in touch with Ed Chao on the members page.
