The Administration and Policy (A&P) committee works towards administrative policy changes, establishing funding for substantial undertakings, and large-scale improvements to the Tufts campus. This year's committee chair is Bruce Ratain. If you have suggestions or questions, get in touch with Bruce on the members page.

2008-2009 goals:
Work alongside Public Safety and TUPD to ensure that students live, work, and study in a safe environment. Keeping this in mind, we will strive to improve TUPD's safety escort service as well as the relationship between Public Safety and the TCU. Specific goals include:
- Establish biweekly meetings with Public Safety and TUPD to analyze statistics relating to the safety escort service and revise policies accordingly
- Coordinate with TUPD to better advertise the safety escort service
- Designate a TUPD liaison to the Senate to facilitate better communication between TUPD and the student body
Produce a long term, sustainable strategy that examines how we deal with Residential Life (ResLife) at Tufts. This document will articulate short term changes as well a broader vision to improve ResLife and to foster community cohesion.
As part of this broader ResLife initiative, we will be examining a few areas of Reslife in greater detail, including:
- The way we match freshmen roommates
- The way ResLife allocates discretionary money to each dorm
- Common room improvements, particularly in West and Metcalf
- Wireless access in dorms
